This is an excellent place. It is located a few hundred meters off the main road so is very quiet. These are a few houses around a swimming pool. There are lots of trees and plants, it is all very green and nice. The swimming pool is also good. The staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever request you might have - including sightseeing tips. The breakfasts are excellent, very interesting local food. The house we had was very good, very clean and well equipped. The bathroom was very big, it was also nice there was a small roofed part outside to leave shoes or things like that. The quality / price ratio was very good, we would definitely return if we are again in the area some time in the future.

Pongsip and his wife and staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The food (Penang curry in particular) was delicious, as was the set breakfast (khao tom, fresh fruit platter and fresh orange juice were all amazing). The smoothies they made were fantastic - I don't think I've seen such a comprehensive choice of fruit smoothies anywhere! Aircon in my room was good and the decor was plain but clean and good. I gather that the rooms in the huts have more artistic flair.

I was very happy with my stay at the Smilingface guesthouse! The staff were all super friendly and the owner lady especially made an effort to make me feel comfortable and helped with arranging, for example laundry and a bus ticket to my next destination. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good with many options, and included delicious fresh fruit. You can also use a bike for free to tour the temples.

Set in Sukhothai, 2.3 km from Sukhothai Historical Park, Sawasdee Sukhothai Resort offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I needed to check in at around 01:00 am so I called the hotel in advance to explain my situation. Upon arrival, a security guard checked me in without much hassle. The hotel staff also helped me book a half day private transfer to and from Si Satchanalai and my bus ticket back to Chiang Mai. Had a bike for free to explore around Sukhothai. Breakfast had a decent variety. Strong air-conditioning and good hygiene, mosquito net.

Beautiful cottage tucked away in a peaceful location just outside the main historical park, and close to the temples in the Western Zone. Really relaxing and a great break from the tourist trail. Lots of nature and animals to see. Hosts were super lovely, helpful, and very attentive. Breakfast of pastries, fruit, tea and coffee was delicious!! Also provided free water, which we appreciated. We rented bikes here and cycled around. Loved our stay here :)
