We adored everything about this place, the view, the chalet, bathroom the breakfast basket delivered the night before. We cooked on the bbq quite a bit too. Loved we could do laundry freely after 5pm. The owners and staff were all super lovely too. It was spotlessly clean and really felt 5 star. We also really liked the area close to collingwood and farewell spit.
Awa-iti
Set within Abel Tasman National Park and accessible only by water taxi or helicopter, Awaroa Lodge offers modern accommodation surrounded by native gardens and beach. There is a restaurant, café and a bar on site. Guests can explore the coastal walking tracks or go kayaking and fishing nearby. Unique, relaxing, beautiful. A perfect spot for sure.

This property and the experience there was nothing short of luxury with every detail and amenity that you could want and more. The whole experience from the moment of arriving was faultless, comfortable and at a level that filled all your senses. Totally relaxing and leaving was the hardest part.
stunning setting and resort
The 1-bdrm unit was super spacious and had lots of sunny spots for drying the clothes.. We had a little semi-private patio with table and chairs. The shower was good and there was a separate room for the toilet (luxury, no manoeuvring around the basin to go to the loo). Our host Lisa was friendly and helpful. The motel was a short, flat walk from the cafés.
Lovely luxury room with great bathroom. Staff super friendly and helpful. Small hotel with good parking. Location nice at the end of the town but near the beach. Dinner in the restaurant very good.
This was a gorgeous, small hotel (feels like a resort) in the best possible location for access to Abel Tasman park as well as the water taxis, kayak places, market and a couple of restaurants. Scott was really nice and steered us in the right direction for where and when to hike the trail and called to make reservations for us. We were able to order simple, delicious breakfasts as well as lunches to take with us on our daily excursions.
excellent luxury facilities. spacious.
absolutely superb location - right next to the plaza at the Mapua Wharf, and the Mapua Ferry. The apartment was a bit of luxury that we don't normally book when going away. The unit we had was the best one too, glad we got the ground floor with access to the beach.
This is my favorite place in New Zealand. It is a native bush/bird paradise with luxury accommodation ,great for teenagers and the hot tub is amazing in winter. The fire is cozy and I actually was able to RELAX. Love the lake as well 'Thanks Mary Allan
Absolutely beautiful chalet. Check-in was easy and the staff was great. It felt like living in the jungle in our own little resort. The outdoor tub was a great touch and each lodge was its own little oasis. Fabulous water pressure in the shower. The location was about a 10 minute drive from downtown and easy to get to.
