Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. Room, location, view from room and property, food, staff and service everything was better than I expected.

The moment I stepped into Malabar Hill Hotel, I felt an overwhelming sense of serenity. Nestled amidst nature, it’s the perfect place for those seeking a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle. The spacious rooms exude warmth, and each is spotlessly clean, offering cozy comforts that make you feel right at home. But what took my breath away was the balcony view. Imagine waking up to the chirping of birds, an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance. And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! The property is in a fantastic location by the ocean and a short walk to a swimming beach where you can swim with turtles. The staff were very welcoming and the property has a beautiful relaxed vibe. The hotel have a free tuk tuk service into town between 9am-6pm and outside these hours a one way ride shouldn’t cost more than 1000LKR (depending on distance)

Located in Weligama, Weligama Temple Tree has a garden and free WiFi. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The rooms also have a terrace. Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. Clean and spacious room. The bed was super comfy. The host was very attentive and made us feel very welcome.

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of... The beach and the main road were near the property. The beach restaurants were available at night by 10 minutes walking. It was about 30 minuets walk to coconut hill. The owner`s brother transmitted us to the bus stop by his tuktuk after checkout. We could see the small turtles in the beach. The room was very big and spacious.

First of all, the location is one of the best I’ve ever been. A beautiful waterfall right in front of the door of your private natural cabana. You’d definitely have the best sleep with the natural waterfall white background noise and wake up to this amazing view of the waterfall 😍. Secondly, the top notch hospitality we got from the hosts was one of the highlights. You’d always be greeted and met with a beautiful smile by the hosts. If you want to feel the true Sri Lankan hospitality, this would be the place. Our family consisted of a small baby, 1 kid, and our parents had dietary restrictions and they made sure that all of our dietary needs were met. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean. And then the 4 wheel drive back of an open truck from and to the village is also another experience we enjoyed so much. I’d not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

If you ever want to stay in Mirissa, this authentic hotel is the perfect option. All the necessary facilities are provided in the common areas, even washing machines and a microwave. The rooms are new, nicely and painstakingly decorated, with a perfect balcony overlooking the river side. So you can laid back at the evening and enjoy the nature. The owner of this place is the nicest guy. The commute to the beach area is not complicated or long at all. It's not a drudgery because you constantly enjoy peacocks, storks and other promiscuous animals around. The owner can help you rent a scooter and you can park it under the canopy. This place helps you to unfold the true unimaginable vacation in Sri Lanka, and I will remember it vividly.

Very friendly hosts that will help with everything. Good and different sri lankan breakfasts everyday with a beautifull view in the garden at the lake. So piecefull and very nice start of the day. Also had scooter rental. And we did a cooking class with them what was very nice and tastefully. There are two dogs both friendly.
