It is in a very peaceful and quiet location surrounded by nature but still in walking distance to the main road and restaurants etc. The building and rooms are new, very clean and spacious with modern electrical installations including a silent aircon and a good bathroom. The hotel was only recently opened, and not yet everything is 100% finished, but that is more than compensated by the helpfulness and eagerness of the very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is associated with one of the bigger organizers of Rafting, canoeing, etc. called "Rafting team 39", which is located directly below on the main road. This allows for flexible and very easy logistics and guarantees fair conditions for activities organized by that company. The small access road to the hotel starts on the main road about 500m South-East from "Rafting team 39". In my case I got off the bus there and was driven up the hill.

It was a great experience to sleep in a hut by the river. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Amazing food; recommend the Sri Lankan curry. They took us on water canyoning and white water rafting trips. Close enough to wall into the town or take the boat across to the other side to walk in the tropical jungle.
