My room opened right onto the lake, and the owner was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous, with an amazing view. The onsen was fabulous; it started snowing when I was in the outdoor section. Will 100% be back!

Situated right on the coast and offering indoor/outdoor hot spring baths with a panoramic view of Beppu Bay, Spa and Resport Hotel Solage Oita Hiji is located a 15-minute car ride from JR Hiji Train... Onsen here is so nice. The outdoor onsen is so relaxing. I preferred the room without shower more.
