All accommodation types enjoy pool views or the mountain, while Tigaki Beach is 1 km away. Gorgeous modern hotel, all the facilities you could need, so many pool areas each with their own pool bar. There were family pool areas and then there were adult only pool areas too. The entertainment was fantastic both during the day by the pool and at night. Location was perfect, right in the centre of Tigaki and only a 5 minute walk to all the shops and the gorgeous beach. Huge super market right across the road too was very handy. Staff we’re all so lovely. Rooms very comfortable.

Within 900 metres from the sandy Tigaki Beach in Kos, Ilios Hotel features 2 swimming pools, a hot tub and a restaurant amidst its lush garden. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with a furnished balcony overlooking the swimming pool or the garden. Ilios Hotel is a team of professionals led by Dimitra to meet all the needs of guests. It is necessary to note the large size of the rooms, which are regularly cleaned. The beds are wide and comfortable. The view out of our room was on the main pool, surrounded by amazing mountains - a stunning view! It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, but you can use a hotel bus, going regularly. This is very useful for families with carriages and materaces)). Beautiful Greek-themed paintings are hung everywhere in the hotel, a whole museum! We should admit a very friendly staff of Ilios! Thanks them a lot!!!! My favorite meal was having breakfast on the terrace - when you look at the salt lakes, drink coffee and listen to good Greek music. Lunches and dinners are served in the restaurant at beautifully set tables. After-parties are held in the pool bar, and evening drinks are served in the main bar, where you can have an evening fun! Recommend!

Dimitra Beach Hotel & suites is a 5-star all-inclusive resort in the popular Agios Fokas village of Kos that offers 6 swimming pools and 3 restaurants in a beachfront setting. Enjoying views of the sea, the hotel’s premises include sports facilities, a mini market and a kids’ disco. The staff was fantastic, always helpful and friendly. Especially Nicks, who was the service person for the beach. They handed out free water and drinks at the beach and would even deliver food from the snack menu. We had half-board so our drinks and lunch was not included but we found that the food at the bar was delicious and actually cheaper than going to the all-inclusive buffet (+25/person). We are not heavy drinkers and we prefer local cuisine to the buffet so the half board worked great. The hotel offers 2 restaurants with a la carte menus that can each be visited once per 7 day stay. That was a nice treat and the food was really good. Otherwise we hopped on the bus to Kos town and enjoyed a plethora of really good restaurants with great food at a good price value. The hotel has a car rental company on-site that offers a large variety of vehicles for rent and the process is quick and easy. We recommend at least one day of exploration to Kefalos (very picturesque beach/island/ruins/church), Melissa's Honey store/restaurant as well as the mountain village of Zia. Zia offers great views, shopping and good food and is advertised for the best sunset views on the island. Other sites include a salt lake, wind mills and many delightful beaches. Kos town has an old town area with plenty of shopping from cheap souvenirs to well made art and leather products. Some artist from the island and all over Greece offer their products. The restaurants are plentiful and most offer good quality food and friendly service. We found (with reservations!) some great places along the beach that were a little better than the ones right on the marina. As in most of Europe you can sit as long as you want and you are not chased to pay and leave right away. In fact you will have to get someones attention to get your bill and pay. We stayed at the beachfront bungalows and I cannot say how beautiful it was.

The rooms are fully air-conditioned with minibar, satellite TV, and free WiFi. Room service is provided 24 hours a day and each room has a private balcony or terrace. Many years ago, during the first days in medical school, the professor told the new students in his introductory lecture: "Once in a lifetime, you have to visit Kos, the birthplace of medicine !" This summer, my wife and I finally did it. It was certainly one of the most memorable trips of our lifes and this is due - in addition to visiting the Asklepion where Hippokrates taught and practiced - to this fantastic resort. The Mitsis Blue Domes is located on a nice beach, has about ten or twelve pools as well as private pools with some rooms (we were lucky to have one of these, see pic). The whole resort meets the highest standards, everything is incredibly clean, the choice of restaurants (it's an all-inclusive) is just phenomenal. Most of all, the staff needs to be mentioned; they are efficient, helpful and immensely friendly and warm-hearted (we even shed a few tears when saying goodbye to the nice ladies ad guys in the main restaurant). The same applies to the housekeeping - when we returned from breakfast around 9 a.m., the room was already cleaned, fresh towels were provided etc. The food was fantastic, the drinks great. We ate most of the time in the main restaurant; the "theme restaurants" like Italien, Sushi etc. require advance reservation (which we didn't know - but didn't care; the buffets in the main restaurants left nothing to be desired). The same applies to the location. The airport is about 12 minutes by taxi away, to Kos City it's a 25-minute ride. In the evening, there is always entertainment, life music and/or shows. We loved to sit at the main bar area after sunset, enjoy the drinks and just be happy that we finally made it to Kos - and that we picked this fabulous resort!
