The deck overlooks the beach and allows for a sunset observation through the palms :) As for the apartment, the wifi was stable and strong, and the AC in the bedroom was great :) We loved how easy it was to get around; walk down the stairs and you're at the beach or on the main shopping street! It was surprisingly quiet for being in such a central spot! The bed was totally comfy and a classic Cape Verde spring mattress. There was another small twin bed in the living room which was a lot more springy, but still ok for sleeping. But by far the value for the that view and location is untouchable. The kitchen at the restaurant downstairs let us use plates and forks for cooking in the apt :) Shower was warm with good water pressure.

Very nice apartment, clean and with everything you need. The host is very friendly. You can walk 6 min to beach, 10 min to downtown. Santa Maria beach is wonderful.
