Phong nha is a must see area! And the farmstay is a great relaxing place to stay. It’s more like a relaxed boutique hotel vibe than a ‘farmstay’ in my view. But you do look out on farms being worked:) the staff were so helpful and great and we loved exploring the region each day (caves are incredible and the national park is beautiful) then coming back the farmstay at night

This homestay has a beautiful location among the rice fields, just a few km from the Phong Nha national park. You can enjoy the peace and quiet here and with a scooter that you can rent from the owner you can quickly reach the village of Phong Nha where there is plenty to do. The family is very helpful and hospitable and you can communicate well with the daughter who speaks good English. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the delicious food (breakfast and dinner were delicious!) and the option to rent a scooter and drive around so you can experience the real life of Vietnam. There are also bicycles for rent and tours and taxis can be arranged. You can enter the national park with a guide. You can book various tours to caves (world famous) and you can do a jungle trek. In short, a great homestay with a very sweet, hospitable family, large clean rooms with a wonderful bed and plenty to do in the area.

Gorgeous hotel! Very big property and garden overlooking a lake! Love the privacy, big patio, natural setting and the design of the rooms. We were dropped of unexpectedly at 3am from our night bus, and they answered the phone and picked us up! We are incredibly thankful for this amazing service! Specially as it was not communicated beforehand. The girl managing the hotel is super sweet and friendly, she could speak English perfectly!

Lake view is wonderful. Staff also very kind. Make sure you stay more than 1 night as lots to do and we regret having such a short stay.
