I don't regularly write reviews due to limited time. But for this particular stay it is worth devoting my time and more. Together with my wife and 2 children we traveled all over Northern Palawan for over 2 weeks trying to stay in the best accommodations available. Luckily we booked 2 nights at the Sunset Beach resort as well. Its German owner is one of the happiest, kindest and most consistent people I have ever met. He has created a wonderful accommodation, in a privileged position on the island. Everything is spotlessly clean, the pool amazing and similarly clean, the food great and all the people working there kind and caring with smiles on their faces. What more could anyone ask for! Even in a small accident we had, he helped us like a brother. Roberto we will never forget you and thank you for everything. Location is literally magical, offering fantastic sunset / morning views.. Personnel is more than nice.. actively working in silent and in the background to make your journey perfect until smallest details.. Food is simply the best we've experienced in Palawan. It happened to take the same plate twice in same dinner the way it was tasty!! Cocktails at the bar are great.. For a cottage, the room was very clean, comfy and very practical They've arranged for a private island hopping tour in the Port Barton neighborhood. It was by far the best experience we had in Palwan...

The room and bathroom were very clean and neat. The interior design was fantastic. The staff were very professional and polite. The food was very delicious and exquisite.

Lazuli resort is situated right at the beach at the edge of Alimanguan, a nice and charming local small town. We were looking for a quieter place without the infrastructure places like El Nido offer - and we found it. The rooms are nicely designed, very spacious and clean and have nice bathrooms with the best water pressure we have experienced in all of Palawan. Staff is very friendly and attentive and helped us with our transfers both arriving and onward. 
The grounds are nicely landscaped, the pool clean and big enough to swim a few laps. 
Breakfast was included in our room rate, very tasty and included French press coffee instead of the usual instand stuff you would get in other places. We also enjoyed other meals at the restaurant and the quality was always great!

Beautiful view especially the sunset. The staff and managers/owners. Accommodation - clean, convenient, comfortable. Less than 10 min e-trike to the San Vicente airport.
