At first the Resort organized a private transport from the port in Tagbilaran to the pier perfectly. At the pier there was a boat already waiting for us and it brought us to the Island Cabilao. The boat ride took around 20 minutes and we had a nice view on Bohol and also Cabilao. We saw a few fish jumping next to the boat. After we had arrived at the Resort beach we got a lovely welcoming with cold ice tea! The reception asked for our passport and did the check in by their own so that we could relax with our welcome drink. After the drink they showed us our rooms. The luggage had already been brought into our rooms The rooms are really cozy. A big bed, enough space for your clothes and of course aircon. The bathroom are okay. Small but enough and of course clean! They cleaned our rooms and bathrooms everyday. On the way to the rooms there is a tiny garden with beautiful local plants. The restaurant was also really good. A lot different meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also good food options for vegetarians. There is not much to say about the location. It's a beautiful small island in the Philippines. Crystal clear water from turquoise to blue. What else do you want more? Stunning sun sets behind the mountains of cebu maybe? Or the chance to see dolphins with the first sunlight? Both is possible. We did an snorkeling trip and said to the boat captain that we want to see a turtle. The captain brought us to a site and after a few minutes snorkeling we saw a turtle. Thank you!! All in all I can't find anything which I didn't like. Maybe the beach is a bit small, but didn't bother us. All of the staff was amazing. They are really attentive, friendly and helpful. Thank you for the amazing time. I'm sure we will come back. I can highly recommend this Resort.

Beautiful spot just off the coast of Bohol. Really lovely crew that can help you organize anything, a nice restaurant, great facilities like the pool, bike rental (very good bikes!) and of course diving. The family room was super spacious with 2 floors and 5 beds, great value. They are still constructing some spots due to the typhoon of 2021.

It’s really really hard to get to this place. They don’t allow you to bring any food or drink, and they don’t sell snacks, so the only you can eat during your stay is their food. But the stuff are very nice

We were treated like family, the diving personnel were amazing. We were very sad to leave this place. A piece of our hearts remained in the Cabilao Sanctuary Beach & Dive Resort. We almost selfishly did not want to review this property so it can remain a hidden treasure…but fair is fair. Come and visit this paradise.

The place is very relaxed and well maintained. The rooms are in an unique design and cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the owner as well. We had a pleasant stay with our family at Sandingan Island Resort and will definitely recommend it to friends and whoever is asking. Thanks to the team for making our family time so great.

Staff were friendly, I love the welcome board, quite interesting. I was the only guest in the resort. So considering this might be not comfortable for night walk outside the room.
