The Sepilok Forest Edge Resort is definitely one of the best hotels where we stayed during our two-week Borneo trip. Its location right at the entrance to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center is unbeatable. The hotel grounds themselves are spacious and the bungalows are not clustered together, making it wonderfully quiet. We stayed in one at the very back with a view into the jungle. We have never seen so many different monkeys strolling by as we did there. Simply incredible to be surrounded by nature like that. The rooms themselves are large, very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The partially outdoor bathroom is spacious enough and equipped with everything you need. The entire resort is extremely peaceful and calming. The restaurant serves many Western dishes, including plenty of vegetarian options, which we appreciated as it can be difficult to find a wider selection of vegetarian food in this part of the world. We would have loved to stay longer.

I was very satisfied having accomodation in this place. The resort is very close to the parks, having pool is a big plus, also during the walk incide the resort you can spot monkeys- I recommend for everyone who wants to stay very close to the nature.

立地が最高！ オランウータンリハビリテーションセンター迄歩いて数分の距離。1番近いホテルです。滞在の目的は勿論オランウータンだったので、午前にセンターを訪れ、昼はホテルに戻ってシャワーとランチ、午後も再訪しました。リハビリテーションセンターのチケットはワンデイパスなので、日に何度も訪れる方はチケットを捨てないでください。 リゾート感が素敵！ レストランや共用部は綺麗に管理された植物に囲まれていて美しいです。部屋はレトロですが広くて天井が高くて素敵です。バスルームはセンス良くリフォームされていてパーフェクト。高級ではなくてカジュアルなリゾートという感じで居心地良いです。 レストランが最高！ 1泊利用の間、昼、夜、朝、昼4回全ての食事をこちらで頂きました。料理美味しいです。スタッフも気さくでスマイリーで最高。特にディナータイムは居心地が良くて4時間位過ごしました。美しくライトアップされた植物に囲まれたオープンエアでワインやカクテルを堪能しました。価格はローカル飯より高いのは勿論ですが、べらぼうに高くは無くて適正価格だと感じました。お酒が高価なのはイスラム圏なので仕方ないですね。このレストラン利用だけでも泊まる価値があると思います。 スカウでの合宿みたいな日々の後の滞在だったので、リゾート気分が味わえて最高でした！
