Yağmur ormanlarının içinde, egzotik kuşların ve maymunların sesleri arasında harika bir plaj ve house resifinin müthiş canlılığı. Bunların herhangi biri dahi bir otel deneyimini harika kılabilecekken hepsine birden sahip Gaya Island Resort. Plajda sadece şnorkelle çok da açılmadan onlarca mercan balık türü, medusalar, mercan bitkileri gördüm. Otelin konumlandığı koy ve mercan seti sayesinde plajı çok az dalgalıydı. Hem yüzmek hem deniz canlılarını seyretmek için harikaydı. Kinabalu Villasını seçtiğim için mutluyum, villaya yürümek biraz uzun sürüyordu ama manzarası mükemmeldi. Plaja ve çevreye çok iyi bakılıyordu ve otelin doğal hayatı korumaya yönelik çabası sayesinde el değmemiş güzellik içinde konaklayabiliyoruz. Yağmur ormanları içinde yapılan kano macerası kesinlikle kaçırılmamalı!

We were absolutely blown away by everything. There weren't many people staying at the resort so it felt so special, secluded, and peaceful. The photos don't do the resort, the services, or the scenery justice! We were going to stay at the Gayana marine resort for the overwater huts but they got damaged during the king tide, so this wasn't our first choice of resort. But we were thoroughly impressed by this place and think it was probably even better than the overwater huts I had been dreaming of! The private beach at Bungaraya is truly special and serene (no other resorts in this cove). Our beachside villa was so spacious and in pristine condition, with beautiful hibiscus surrounding the private pool, a short path leading to the beach which we could enjoy views of from our porch, and plenty of wildlife to enjoy just from our porch (lizards, monkeys, hornbills). By the beach we didn't have an issue with bugs (and I usually get eaten alive). The beachside villas are also great for a short walk to the restaurant and to the free kayak/SUP/snorkle gear checkout hut. Definitely worth splurging on the beachside villas. The coral reef accessible from the resort was beautiful (and healthy!) with lots of colorful fish and even some blue spotted sting rays. The food and service was also outstanding. That's not something we usually consider when looking for places (we usually just peruse the photos and available activities), but it was an important part of why our vacation was so enjoyable. We felt like royalty here, which was perfect for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back.

We were very happy about the fact that we had a beach. The usage of the other hotels within this resort was allowed - that was amazing! Great gym and the rooms were pretty big. Excellent!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the sea. The staff were fantastic, all very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice. The musicians called the Highlanders were excellent and knew such a wide variety of music. They were a lot of fun. The snorkelling was good but you needed to go out away from the shore.

While entering into the Marina Court it was looking so old. However this penthouse flat is very well maintained. Property looks nice and cosy. Around 13 People can be easily accommodated. Mr Denis is so helpful when I requested he guided me the local travel agent Mr Elwyn, who has well organised my day tour requirements. I recommend this place for big family or friends gatherings.
