Yakaduru is a beautiful place with many sustainable features. The Yakaduru restaurant is great to visit. We explored the chena in the village side of Yala, where we saw tree houses that offered an amazing view of the Yala area. We also enjoyed drinking tea from coconut shell cups, a unique and sustainable experience. The people we met were very friendly, and even though they couldn't understand us, they communicated well through expressions and with the help of our guide. It was a wonderful experience meeting such friendly people in Sri Lanka. The rooms at Yakaduru Lodge are comfortable and cool, with clay walls and palm leaf roofs. We also visited the beach and had a great time.

Everything from the service once you arrive untill the time you checkout ! Especially thanks to the guys for checkin and at the restaurants ! Very friendly and amaizing location !! Must visit if you are keen for a wildlife advanture ! Truly exceptional

Hilton Yala is a stunning hotel, newly built and with every detail of the highest specification. Our pool villa was spacious and beautifully designed. The grounds are immaculate and the expansive pool is incredible. The real selling point of this hotel however is the staff and the amazing service. Every single member of staff we encountered on our two night stay was friendly and helpful. You really get a sense of a hotel that want you to have the best stay possible and will go out of their way to make sure that happens. We were lucky enough to go on a morning safari with ranger Praneeth, who was so intent on finding us the elephants we wanted to see that he extended our safari by an hour to ensure it happened ! In the end, not only did we see a herd of elephants but a leopard too. It really is a magical place and we are already planning a return trip.

Un séjour exceptionnel ! Tout est absolument parfait. Ce sont 14 huttes de luxe identiques. L’aménagement de la chambre est grandiose. La petite piscine privée est magnifique. Le personnel est aux petits soins. La nourriture est phénoménale. Nous avons tellement bien mangé tant des plats sri lankais qu’occidentaux. Le souper sur la place près du feu de camp est incroyable. Les cocktails sont aussi délicieux. Les safaris sont bien organisés. Nous avons adoré notre ranger. Merci à lui pour la marche le long de la plage au lever du soleil, un moment marquant de notre voyage au Sri Lanka. Chaque safari comprend des collations et boissons rafraîchissantes, c’est très apprécié. En deux nuits, nous avons fait 4 safaris. Beaucoup d’animaux autour des huttes, un éléphant a meme été aperçu en bord de mer pendant l’apéro, un souvenir mémorable ! Excellent rapport qualité prix, avec toute la nourriture de qualité, les boissons et alcool premium, la qualité des installations et des amenities ainsi que les quatre safaris ! Un sans faute de la part de toute l’équipe de Uga Chena Huts, merci infiniment !

We had an incredible stay here. The room was enormous and very clean. We stayed in the suite with the private pool and it was fantastic. Ishan made our stay so easy and sorted out anything we needed. The food was some of the best of the trip as well. We cannot recommend staying here enough and if we ever get to come back to Sri Lanka we will definitely be staying here again.

My exhilarating trip to Sri Lanka was an incredible experience that will always remain in my memories. The pristine landscapes and beautiful nature of this country captured my heart. However, what made this trip even more special was our stay at Laya hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and also the place was very comfortable and quiet at night. We happened to be there during Sinhala and Tamil new year holiday, and we decided to stay an extra night to celebrate with them. We participated in their games and festivities, and it was a great new experience. We were even honored as special guests on the second night to stay in their brand new caravan. Special thanks to the hotel general manager (Mr.Wasantha) and his deputy (Mr.Dulaj) for their hospitality.
