We arrived at Whisky point not knowing what to expect. All I can say is that it exceeded our expectations in every way! We ended up extending our stay and became great friends with the owner, Nicola and his entire team! The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional! It could be the best Pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The fact that you are living on the beachfront, which is super clean with no crowds and a few minutes walk away from Pottuvil Point where you can catch good surf when the swell is good or swim off the main rock when its flat, makes this place the perfect location, away from the madness of Arugam Bay which can get super crowded. You can catch a tuk tuk to A Bay and be there in 10 minutes if you want to go into the A Bay. I am going to miss this place and my friends and will be back for sure! 10/10 all the way!

A hidden oasis in Arugam Bay. It’s in Whisky Point, so perfect if you want some peace from the main town (20 min by scooter or tuktuk). And if you surf it’s closer to the quieter, northern spots…so better imo. ;) Richard manages the place, and he has a wealth of stories and hidden spots to explore. I’d stay longer if I could! The Staff were super friendly as well as the boss. We had a room for one night, but booked it for 3 cause we liked it a lot. The second night our A/C broke. The manager found us another room in order for us to feel really like home and comfortable as much as possible. Would recommend their breakfast bowls ! Delicious!
