You can not beat the view. The whole retreat felt like one big meditation session. The staff was great. The main host had an incredibly calming aura that matched the serenity of the location. I have high anxiety and that retreat was the least anxious I have been in years. The owner was great too. He gave me a free trip to the airport and was a great conversationalist. This would be a great place to write a book.

There were so many activities for the kids, they loved it (and so did I because I got to relax and read my book!). Staff was also excellent, very accommodating. Food was fresh, vegetables coming from the lodge's organic garden.

We had no activities pre-arranged and Sam and his staff organized the most amazing trips to incredible destinations with every small detail included. Very beautiful location. Perfect place to relax and to explore the centre of Luang Prabang. The shuttle per boat is perfectly organized and it’s so charming to cross the Nam Khan river with it. Great coffee for breakfast. Special thanks goes to Mr. Han and to his team for their excellent service, e.g. organizing motorbikes and train tickets. We had a great stay and highly recommend this accomodation!
