Chidambaram Villas - A Luxury Heritage Resort is located in Chettinad, within 5 km from Thirumayam Fort and Thirumayam Railway Station. Providing free parking, it also has an outdoor pool and a 24-hour front desk.

The hotel is very special, into an old and totally renovated Chettinadu palace, the atmosphere is great, it was nice to stay two nights to enjoy the place. The food is fine and the staff is very helpful. I would suggest to make the Chettinadu tour from the hotel and the palce tour, both very interesting.

Chettinadu Court is nestled in the tranquil village of Kanadukathan, a 5-minute walk from Chettinad Palace. It offers an outdoor pool, free internet access and charming accommodation with en-suite bathroom. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.
Guests can relax by the pool or go on excursions organised by the tour desk. They can make use of the car rental facilities to explore the area. Ayurveda treatment is available in the resort.

Kavita the receptionist was simply the best of her kind: welcoming, friendly, informative, inquisitive with a heartwarming life story too. The place itself was charming. Large, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast in nearby Chettinadu Mansion was ample and good, as was dinner there too. Kanadukathan is a fabulous and unique place in India with its magnificent Chettinadu mansions. An oasis of calm from normal hectic India.

At the resort, all rooms come with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, the rooms at THE CHETTINAD HERITAGE have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms are equipped with a balcony. At the accommodation rooms come with bed linen and towels.

It was a absolutely lovely stay everyone was very helpful and with food was great cause they looked for every wish...great rooms best we had in india and we had a lovely new year with cake...thank you everybody you made our stay like a dream
