Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. This is a lovely hotel in a charming and well kept building. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive and very comfortable and the location in town was just great -- in the charming old section very near to the cathedral and other attractions. All at an excellent price!

Located in Uppsala city centre, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms with satellite TV and free WiFi. The staff were so very helpful and pleasant :) The room was well sized and very comfortable :) The location was so convenient for exploring all of Uppsala - with the station a few hundred metres away and bus stops within easy walking distance:) The breakfasts were truly amazing!! So much fresh and delicious food on offer, and topped up all the way to the very end of the breakfast service period :) We didn't make use of the dinner option - but it always smelled delicious, and the happy faces of the guests who were dining suggests that dinner was very good too :) We will return without hesitation when we are next in Uppsala!!! What an utterly delightful little hotel 😁
