El Samay Hotel Boutique in Canoas de Punta Sal provides accommodation with a private beach area, water sports facilities. The property has a terrace, as well as a shared lounge. My kids and I had a wonderful 5 days at this ocean side property. The staff were ALL incredible. The people from Punta Sal are kind, generous and honest. We ordered most of our meals from the restaurant and were happy with the quality of the food and the presentation. We had the option to take our meals either in our balcony or the dining areas they have set up throughout the property. I had my coffee brought up to me early in the morning before my run, then had breakfast later with the kids. I cannot say enough what a wonderful experience we had. It is a small place, which is exactly what we were looing for. You will be glad you chose this hotel. Thank you to Sr. Percy, Rosemary, Carolina and Miguel Angel and the rest of the staff. You were all so kind and generous. I hope the owners know how great their staff is. We will surely be back.

Featuring an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Punta Sal Suites & Bungalows Resort offers beach front accommodations in Tumbes. Free WiFi access is available. The service. It's a very nice hotel, but the best of it was the service. We had an assigned server (Javier) for our bungalow and he always made sure we were ok. Would come back just for good the service was from him, and other staff. The activities for kids were great as well, this is definitively a family-oriented resort, while also having a nice bar and privacy in its beachfront bungalows/suites in case you are a couple.

This is an excellent option if you want a place to disconnect and relax. The food is great, the staff is very kind, and you are on the ocean. It is quiet; you can reconnect with nature, read, exercise, meditate, and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. I must mention that I have a gluten intolerance, and Marimar, the owner, and manager, went out of her way to provide me with suitable options for breakfast. She made pancakes and marvelous gluten-free bread to complement existing options. She was extremely kind, and we are so thankful to her!
