Janas Blue Water Corner ligger i Trincomalee, 2 minuters promenad från Dutch Bay Beach, och erbjuder strandnära boende med flera faciliteter, bland annat en egen strand. Breakfasts were so tasty and the products were fresh. We enjoyed traditional Tamil food with an attractive view of the beach and the ocean which are 5 meters beside the hotel. Also, you can always order fresh juices or curd-iced lassis. If you want something special for breakfast you can also order for example English breakfast or even chicken rice with curry. You can order any food for dinner. At our dinners, we ate crabs, calamari, redfish, scallops, octopus, and even skat. And believe me, the price for each dinner is much lower than in restaurants of Trincomalee city, portions are big and food is so fresh and yummy. We rent one new scooter for a very good price. Also, you can scuba dive here with instructor Dencil or even go just for snorkeling or for an exursion to watch dolphins.

Offering a year-round outdoor swimming pool and views of the sea, Amanta Beach is set in Nilaveli, 20 km from Trincomalee. Each air-conditioned room offers a view. Rooms have a private bathroom. We stayed at Amanta Beach Resort for two nights and wished we would have stayed for a week! The property is beautiful and private but close enough to Nilaveli & Trinco that you could take a Tuk Tuk if you needed to. The rooms were spotless, beautiful, and everything worked perfectly (including the air con). As previous reviewers have said, the beach is your own little private slice of paradise. We were there a few weeks before the heavy season, so the seas were a bit rough, but we spent many hours lounging in the chairs on the sand! The food was amazing too! We had dinner one night and it was one of the best meals that we've had on our year abroad. The owner/chef comes out and explains everything and tells you where he got the ingredients from (mostly his on-site garden). Shyakthi and his staff make this place what it is! They all go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying yourself and that you're comfortable. They put a lot of time and energy into the entire experience and it shows. There is a reason this hotel is rated 9+ on Booking and you should definitely come see for yourself!

Very friendly & helpful host! Our 1 year old child got a breathing difficultys while we explored Trincomalee. When we got back to resort, owner organized for us transport to hospital in 5 min.He came along with us, had already informed the hospital of our situation. We got to see a doctor straight away, not a wanting a minute. Our child got quick treatment and everything is ok with her now! Host at resort got also lots of local connections with sea-sport activities and whale watching tours and so on. As well he is a very good cook and making fabulous food! Thanks for a great stay and helping out our family in unpredictable situation!

The staff is attentive and helpful.
