This hotel was our first accommodation during our honeymoon roadtrip in Iceland and we absolutely loved the peaceful location next to the mountains. Spa area outside was great: two hot tubes and also amazing sauna (we Finns just absolutely love sauna and this little sauna stole our heart). Glass terrace is very nice too - we had sparkling wine there and enjoyed the views. Breakfast was very nice too!

Set in Hvolsvöllur, 7.7 km from Seljalandsfoss, Hotel Selja offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. It’s a beautiful small hotel with access to coffee machine all day and a dining area. Modern, very clean and delicious breakfast including waffle machine. Very close to Seljafoss.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. The location was wonderful, staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and the room was awesome.

Stylish interiors of the main building, cozy room with amazing view, two hot tubs. The stuff was very friendly and the breakfast was also good.

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge. Superb location, away from all the lights, roads and noise. Staff is super friendly and helpful Food in general, dinner and breakfast, was very nice and regional - which we appreciate a lot. The rooms are super cosy, spacious and clean. It offers everything you need. We would and will book again when back in Iceland, and we will recommend it to friends, since we really experienced a great time there!

Full of details, quiet and with a beautiful landscape, gives you a incredible experience. The breakfast is also really nice and tasteful. The staff is amazing, all the time helpful, always available to help and guide.

Located within 3 km of Kirkjugólf and Systrafoss twin waterfalls, Magma Hotel offers accommodation in Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Rooms are modern with Nordic design and free WiFi. Really nice accommodation and lake view. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was fabulous.
