The 4-star Shirley Arms Hotel is located in the market town of Carrickmacross, South Monaghan. It boasts elegant rooms decorated in luxury fabrics, free Wi-Fi and a fine dining restaurant. Breakfast, staff everything was above and beyond my expectations. Ireland will always be a wonderful place to me, I left it 50 years ago to see the world and I still call it home.

This was an amazing hotel! Perfect location for our needs, right in town and next door to a fantastic pub "The Squealing Pig" where our event was taking place and not far from our family gathering in Rockcorry. (BTW the Squealing Pig was very accomodating to our very Vegan daughter and her infant son); The staff at the hotel was pleasant and accomodating. The breakfast was fantastic with a full menu of options The town has a nice mall and shopping options; we had our laundry done down the street and back the same day if you get it there early. The Monaghan Museum was fantastic (they are moving to a new location down the street. The restaurants were great and we especially were impressed with 'Eastern Balti House' with the best service and great food!

Beautifully appointed, clean, comfortable home in peaceful setting. The breakfast was hardy and delicious.

20 village square Glaslough is situated in Glaslough, 42 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre, and features a terrace, garden, and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. This was perfect for our group of friends. Everything was clean and tidy and lots of space. Beds were extremely comfy. Will hopefully be back.

Situated in Latton and only 7.6 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre, Greenfields Country House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location in the country side. Our host was very helpful.

Lynster House provides rooms in Milltown, a 3-minute drive from Monaghan. The property is situated 10 km from Castle Leslie. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at this property. The meal was outstanding and multiple courses were both delicious and well presented. In addition most of the ingredients were locally sourced, tasty and excellent quality. Easily the best B$B we’ve ever stayed.
