Set in Sligo, 13 km from Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Markree Castle offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything! Staff was warm and friendly, especially the Castle dog! Food and drinks were amazing, and the Castle and grounds were breathtaking! Received a free room upgrade with a footed tub and garden view. Loved exploring the Castle and grounds, finding fabulous things around every corner!

Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views. Beautiful place, friendly staff, amazing scenery, we will return here for sure and bring the kids this time!

On the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, the Waterfront House & Restaurant offers luxury boutique accommodation and breathtaking views over Killala Bay and golden Enniscrone Beach. Great to see the waterfront back to its best after a couple of years with a different crowd that didn’t get it. it’s now back to its best and it was wonderful seeing Martina back at the desk. Couldn’t recommended this place enough. Jacquline and the gang would do anything for you.

Dinner and breakfast with the other guests was very enjoyable. The house and grounds were pleasant and welcoming.

With stunning design and spacious rooms, The Glasshouse is set on The Garravogue River in Sligo’s centre. It boasts an AA Rosette restaurant and a gym. The staff were lovely, the hotel was very clean and very good places to visit nearby. We would definitely visit again.
