Halvøen er badet af næsten konstant havbrise, hvilket giver et køligt og forfriskende sted. everything about it ! the rooms are lovely , the location is perfect and the activities (kayaking, swimming around the property, taking a boat to the river, walking in the woods) in the property were fun! the food was excellent throughly the day including breakfast. lunch and dinner and the drinks are delicious. the staff and especially Angela and Ruby, were just so lovely and are So welcoming and professional. they helped us with everything. from the minute we arrived until we left, even with taking a bus back to Antigua and arranged the driver, taking a boat day trip and just made everything feel so nice. Angela is an exceptional caring person and made us feel so good during the entire stay. thank you Angela for making our stay so special.

El Hotelito Perdido er et lille jungle-tilflugtssted beliggende midt i nationalparken Rio Dulce. I had enjoyed very much to stay there. It was a perfect way to end my journey through Guatemala. A great place to relax to eat excellent food and to enjoy the nature and surroundings. Muchas gracias por todo.

There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar ligger i Izabal, 45 km fra Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, terrasse og restaurant. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Livingston Resort Hotel ligger i Lívingston og har have, terrasse, restaurant og bar. Hotellet ligger omkring et par skridt fra North Livingston Beach og 1,4 km fra Capitania Beach. Huge suite with 2 balconies. The kids were very happy to have their own seperate bedrooms! Beautiful and clean pool.

Casa Nostra ligger i Lívingston og har have, fælles opholdsstue, terrasse og restaurant. Dette 3-stjernede hotel har gratis wi-fi, roomservice og døgnåben reception. Loved the beautiful location. Stuart and Abby were both amazing with advice about activities and logistics. So awesome. I also thought the staff at the restaurant, especially Jose Luis and Fernando who are connected to AK Tenemet, were terrific. Great food too!

Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante ligger i Rio Dulce og har have, fælles opholdsstue, restaurant og bar. Der tilbydes roomservice, concierge-service og valutaveksling. This was consistently the best food we had during our whole stay in Guatemala. The common lodge was so homey and inviting. We loved hearing the rain on our tin roof in our building. Bonus: The ferry to Livingston left directly from the Hotel pier. It was wonderful.
