With panoramic views over Brodick Bay, The Douglas Hotel offers boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The historic hotel is a 10-minute walk from Brodick center. Our room and our bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the food at the bistro where we went every evening was varied and good. We were lucky to have live music one evening at the bistro. The staff were all very kind, helpful and agreeable. For our purposes the hotel location was perfect. We didn’t have a car so it was important to be close to the ferry terminal. We hiked and there are loads of hikes that can be started from the hotel ( no real need to get a bus). Alternatively the bus stops are just on the doorstep if you want to visit the other parts of the island

The hotel was very nice and clean with an amazing breakfast and very friendly staff. Much better than in pictures. Great location and the pub is very fun too.

Lovely family house with a large very well equipped kitchen, well heated throughout the house. Very safe spot if young kids with you and a super large fantastic secluded decking area that connects with the front door. Very well thought out cottage
