Located on Galiano Island, the hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Vancouver Ferry Terminals. The view from the room was stunning, especially the sunrise! Wow!!! Although we only had a queen room, it was more spacious than I expected. The washroom was also a great size and included a tub which I prefer over a shower at the end of a day of exploring trails and beaches. We enjoyed our tasty dinner at the restaurant on site and the service was very good!

Sticks and Stones Cottage-Arbutus Grove has a patio and garden views. Situated in a wooded setting, this property features a garden. Sticks and stones was comfortable and charming. The cottage was well equipped, a 5 minute walk to beautiful shore line, and Ralph and Rocky were helpful. Galiano is amazing - such great hikes, quiet but also with interesting food and culture.

The bread and eggs made for a great wholesome breakfast to get our days going. And the orange juice and milk was a solid breakfast beverage choice! The owners are really nice.

The Staff and Managment went our of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing and muffins to your room are a nice touch. Set in Ganges in the Salt Spring Island region, Thistle Dew Cottage has a balcony. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The Cottage was fantastic, just what I needed for my solo visit to Salt Spring Island. Well equipped with essential food and snacks and washing equipment, which was very handy for me as I biked from Victoria and packed light. The bed was so comfy and the cottage has a real charm to it, the photos don't do it justice! Location is great for Ganges and there are some nice trails nearby. The Salt Spring Wild Cider house is on the doorstep and a visit here is a must. The food and cider are amazing. The owner Pauline is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, a true Canadian gem! Her life story is amazing, she is a mine of information and she goes well out of her way for people. I really hope to be back some day soon!
