friendly staff, amazing room - 25 mins drive to arcadia national park and Bar harbour - fantastic coffee in the morning - we had a kitchen room and that was great - it meant we were able to prepare food as we went.

Close to Acadia National Park. Was a no frills place to stay. Grab and go breakfast was nice. Quiet, well maintained motel reminiscent of how travel used to be.

this is a beautiful property in a great location. we received all the information we needed in advance and the property owners kept in touch. it all worked like a dream. the room was lovely and extremely well equipped. All the kitchen utensils were bagged ready for use so we felt everything was clean and sanitary. There were toiletries for us and plants of towels. The motel room was immaculate and the beds super comfortable. This place is a real gem. It was so lovely to sit outside by the lake on the Adirondack chairs and just relax.

Deluxe king room was exactly what was advertised - with sitting areas, huge bed, fridge, microwave and separate space for clothes / luggage. Outside decked sitting area very pleasant. Complimentary tea / coffee with biscuits in Lobby area - very welcoming. Outside appearance does not do this property justice - very pleasantly surprised when we got to our room.

We got stranded a 1/2 mile down the road because of a bad tire as we were traveling through. The tire wasn't available that day. The manager was very thoughtful and when our tire didn't come in until the next day @ 1:30 they didn't charge us for the extra hours past check out time. We REALLY appreciated that! And it was so nice to have a lovely front porch with rockers to relax, an accommodating dining area where we could get snacks, coffee and drinks. We met many guests who have been coming there for ten years or more and that tells you a lot! The staff is AMAZING! Helpful and clean the rooms excellent.

This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy! We plan to make it an annual trip because we love it so much!
