The quirkiness of the property is the draw for me. We checked in a little early but it wasn't a problem. We came on a super windy day,but carriage is warm and comfortable. Super clean,toiletries provided and loads of towels. There is even a hairdryer. It's far out,but loads of places to eat and shop within 15/20 minutes drive. It's so peaceful.

Very helpful and made sure we knew if there was ever a problem or anything we needed they were there day and night. The room was very clean. Everything was well maintained even though it was an older motel. Liked having outside entrance and parking right by your door. Comfortable beds and great safe location. The petting zoo animals (I LOVE animals) is right there, SO many things to do and this motel is right in the center of it all! I cannot wait to return! I wish I had arranged to stay much longer, but I'm coming back before Christmas for sure! This place is PERFECT along with a fabulous friendly cheerful staff. Loved, loved, LOVED everything!

The feeling was like you are a guest in their home. Location is very convenient, near main roads, yet quiet. Vintage design of brick motor lodge, with nice grass courtyard in middle--great layout. Good-sized rooms with bathtub. Family run operation, and they do a great job managing the motel. They care, and it shows.
