The location was just right. Took my Granddaughters to Water Safari. The staff at the motel were very nice. The room wasn't ready when we got there but the girls went in the pool. Every thing turn out fine Would definitely go back.

The Country Club Motel is a quaint, quiet place to stay in the Old Forge area. It's CLOSE to the Thendara Golf course - the reason for my stay - and close to all the good places to eat. If you like quiet, simple comfortable accommodations, this motel is the best!

The staff were very friendly. It was nice and quiet. When I had a need the staff responded quickly. The motel was right down the street from local shops and attractions. I loved the fact that I wasn’t too far from things.

Old Forge, I'll never stay at the motel again. The Pool was filthy, far from heated , black stains on the liner hopefully not black mold. The microwave and the electric are so screwed up, had to have a light on for the power to get to the microwave... Made the coffee augh on the floor for an outlet. It is a cheap and c-level place , amenities were pathetic and minimal to say the least. Live and learn.

No breakfast. There was a lightening storm just as I arrived and we were without power for about 5 hours. This presented a bit of a problem. However, the manager offered to let all of the guests move to another motel with a generator without charging for our rooms, but we all opted to stay where we were.

Close to decent restaurant, The Mill. The motel is far enough from the road so that noise is not an issue. They have a nifty alarm clock with 4 USB charging ports so I could charge all my gadgets at once.
