The beds were comfy, and the rooms have balconies overlooking the river behind the motel. We had dinner and breakfast at the Goversor's restaurant a short drive away, and took a late evening walk to the dam on the river, in what seemed to be a safe neighborhood. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful with suggestions for where to eat. The room had a kitchenette that we didn't use.

I arrived early before check-in time but the host was very accommodating and she also gave me a free upgrade! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything. The location is also great - away from the noise but close to everything. Thank you!
