Nothing. Do not believe any of the reviews. Booked through booking.com and received confirmation of our stay. Arrived and were told they never received our confirmation. Therefore no room for us. Had to drive to Kalamazoo before we could find another motel. DO NOT TRUST THEM. BOOKING.COM SENT CONFIRM OF PAYMENT RECEIVED. ARBOR CLAIMS THEY NEVER RECEIVED ANY MONEY.

Very friendly staff. Motel was mostly quiet in the evening. Toiletries were non-existent, except for two bars of soap. Bed was very comfortable. Good location & value for the cost.

It is an old fashioned truck stop motel, leave high expectations at home. Bedding was clean, no bugs observed. Roof was being replaced during our stay, nice about the upkeep but we weren't warned about the noise. Refrigerator worked. Little swamp area was maintained but no wildlife noted- it is right on the highway.

Although Howards Motel is an old place, everything was very neat and clean, Paying only $124.30 for a 2 night stay was an outstanding value!

$124.30 for a 2 night stay was a very good value! Since I went to Marshall, Michigan to eat at Win Schuler's restaurant several times and also went to the Firekeeper's Casino to play blackjack, Howard's Motel is ideally located between the two.

This property was a modest motel, but our room had top notch furnishings, beautiful decor and a very comfortable bed and sofa.
