I liked that it was right off the highway, perfect for someone just passing through. Breakfast was great and got me ready to get back on the road again. I would stay here any time! Staff and check were very nice too.

I've stayed in many motel 6's and this by far was amazing facility was well taken care of very clean and the staff friendly my accommodations were met very happy with this place will come back again

The proprietor was friendly & kind, made sure my daughter & I felt secure as our room right next to the office. The room felt like home, homey country decor, bed was comfortable, everything clean. How awesome it was to have The Lodge restaurant (what we call a "Supper Club" in Wisconsin) attached to the motel. Wonderful steak dinner with all the fixins, delish Old Fashioned cocktail for me, both of us loved the meal, and the staff was the best! Two asked to be the first to sign the bright pink cast on my broken left wrist. We enjoyed a walk downtown so we could visit Thunderhead Brewery for a taster. What a great downtown, owing to having a college there, and lots of young folks out & about. Charming shops & businesses. Wished we could have stayed an extra night to explore, but on our way home to Milwaukee. We felt welcomed & appreciated. One of the memorable stops along the way on one of our road trips. Hope to visit again! Also, sad to miss the annual Sandhill Crane migration, but on our "to see" list. Sandhill Crane Capital of the World!
