    It was a great central location. It was very clean and had basic accommodations. This is what I expected for the price: " motel camping," not a resort.

    Close to town without being downtown. Amenities were close and the town is lovely. Small town with great people. Check out the local metal Artist, John Mark Baker. Lovely works of art for the great outdoors. The Riverwood Motel has a lovely pool as well. Excellent Mexican food right next to the Motel, El Parralito, which had fabulous food and a great ambiance.

    Although it’s not a fancy motel, the owners are very helpful and kind. Always willing to help. We had our small dog with us so we had to stay in a smoking room. That part was horrible since I don’t smoke it was really strong. My husband smokes and he said it was to strong for him.
