Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
We were driving home to Michigan from Florida and just needed a place to sleep for the night and it was much cleaner and higher quality than the other motel we stayed at.
Hot tub, pool, popcorn in the evenings were enjoyed by everyone. The rooms were adjoining, and our party was able to share bathrooms and communicate easily room to room. The motel was quiet and we could not hear other guests in other rooms or above us.
Check-in was smooth and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and exactly as expected from the descriptions online and in reviews. The breakfast was good - quite standard for this type of motel. It was a good place for two weary travelers to rest after a long drive.
A great motel. Breakfast was wonderful. Clean with helpful and cheerful staff. A shout out to Chrystal who checked us in and recommended some places for dinner. Janie in the morning couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
The breakfast was average for a moderate motel. Small dining area, cereal, microwaveable sandwiches, waffle-maker, etc. Average quality coffee and juices, too. Very kind woman at check-in, OK guy at check-out. Carpet in hallway by elevator on upper floors was very dirty and affected the way the place looked, and both entry doors could use a vigorous scrubbing. Not a good "welcome sign" upon arrival. Good location with plenty of eateries nearby and easy on/off the interstate.
The location is great if you're traveling. It's right off the interstate too bad the motel is a dump.
