We were met very warmly by the lovely staff member who made us feel welcomed. The cosy room had been freshly painted and renovated, with a great quiet gas heating system, very aesthetically pleasing furnishings and super clean sheets and bathroom, plus a discount to the nearby durango joe's coffee house.

This brilliant accommodation model allowed me a safe, clean, and comfortable place to rest and stretch, sleep and shower. The staff was friendly and always available. The other guests in my dorm were respectfully helpful. I didn’t have time to check out the amenities, but will def be back.

Cable TV, a desk and an en suite bathroom are provided in each room at Budget Inn.

Lovely welcome on arrival. Marvellous value for money considering the location which was ideal for the Durango Railway about a mile away and half a mile or so from Downtown. We opted to stay for an extra night and were given an upgraded room as our room was unavailable. Wonderful. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and tidy. If your priority is freebie shower gels then these are not supplied. A good thing too. Far too much single use plastic as it is.

I booked this room through booking.com and payed fir the room on April 1st. When we arrived, the guy at the desk could find no reservation from booking.com. and to top that, had no rooms available. Now I would like my money back, $343.22 I am going to turn this over to my attorney as soon as we get back home and giving bad reviews on the mot er l and booking.com what a frigging nightmare. We finally found another motel that cost us 500. For two nights! I think booking.com ought to reimburse us for that room too.

The building location is wonderful, allowing us to park and then walk around downtown. We enjoyed the lounge very much - drinks & live entertainment! Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. The hotel is beautifully restored and decorated. Our bathroom was more functional than many motel rooms are, with adequate counter space, towel bars and supplies. Nice shower but kind of weak water pressure. Although it was quite warm out and the cooling system has a tough time of it, we were able to stay comfortable.

The breakfast was good for fast traveler(s) like us (us & grandkids). The Office worker (Bill) was an out spoken person and helped us with location of various places within the city area. He was a kind person who made you feel secured within the motel area.

It was clean and the room was large. Two complaints. 1) Road noise. The motel is located on a busy street and we could hear the traffic in our room. 2) the bottom sheet kept getting undone which was annoying. .
