Maid service is only upon request. The rooms are situated in some sort of a park, which looks good. There's also a pool. There seems to be enough parking. We took this hotel/motel, because it is at the entrance to Davis, meaning that you can walk to the town centre (and the university, UCD).

Guests here are in the very walkable heart of downtown, and just blocks from the campus of UC Davis. Also - great shower with plenty of water pressure, and good air conditioning for hot afternoons/evenings. Friendly staff too. They have a free breakfast, but I didn't have time to try it.
