It was a peaceful room. I was thrilled to be able to have my cat with me. It was so convenient to be able to smoke in my room. The staff was wonderful. Really all around it was a great stay.

I need internet access for business and personal use. Unfortunately the wi gi at Monarch was insecure. I am unwilling to risk that so I had first to change rooms trying to find one with good cellular data service but wound up getting only marginal cellular data. Chow tge hotel for wifi and free parking. Got one. Won’t come again unless wifi security addessed

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Location was good because you could go easily in any direction since it is located near a freeway and major roads. And bathrooms had bars attached to wall over bathtub!! Hard to find in most motels!

I've stayed here a plethora of times, like seriously, a plethora and if that's the case, it stands to reason that this hotel/motel hits the mark in all the right places. First off is the value, second is it's always been satisfactorily clean, thirdly the staff has been pleasant in pretty much every interaction and lastly the facilities are at minimum average or above average in upkeep and convenience.

Decent, simple, functional room. Mine was clean. The price was very good. I spent my first of three nights at a Motel 6 and that was a disappointment. Then a friend told me about the Sunnyside Inn. It was so much better than the Motel 6. If I came to Clackamas again, I would not hesitate to use this place again. And for breakfast, let me recommend Dean's Homestyle Cafe. Great food, good prices and a very good waitstaff.
