Atherton Motel features an outdoor pool, free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. The property is within a 5-minute drive of central Atherton and The Crystal Caves.

Motel Atherton is located next door Pagoda Chinese Restaurant and a 20-minute drive from Yungaburra, Herberton Historic Village and Atherton Tablelands. Lake Tinaroo is a 15 minutes’ drive away, and that is a popular fishing spot.

The proprietors were lovely and very helpful and made me feel Welcome. My unit was clean and towels etc were changed each. It was quiet and has great parking right at you door. The motel is close to town and and all amenities. I stayed for 5 days and will definitely be returning again.

We had difficulties in finding accommodation when we came across Kookaburra Motel by accident and what a nice surprise. As we were limited to time we will definitely come back to really enjoy the Kookaburra experience.

This mum and dad motel is located in the best village in the Atherton Tableland. The owner is a lovely lady with lots of helpful local knowledge: where to eat (a few doors up the street or lunch by the crater lakes), what & when to see the local wildlife (Platypus and tree kangaroos and amazing fig trees). We soundly slept in a comfortable bed in a quiet location, so all in all excellent value for money.

This motel is conveniently located to reach all the main attractions in the Atherton Tableland. The room was nicely decorated, quiet and clean. It was also equipped with a microwave and a small fridge, so we could warm up some dinner and breakfast.

I have stayed at the Yungaburra Park Motel a number of times over the years and continue to book there when travelling to the area as it hands down better than any offering you might find in nearby Atherton. Great location, good value room options, a really personable management team on site and just the best breakfast not 150 metres walk up the road at the Whistle Stop Cafe. I like this spot a lot.

Yungaburra Park Motel is always a great stay. The room is always clean and tidy, everything works as it should and its proximity to the local eateries is fantastic. The staff on site are also very helpful with any ad hoc request you might have.

It was more than comfortable. Indeed, it was luxurious. I really loved the generous touches like complementary bathrobes, decanter of port and really good coffee. These things go above and beyond giving a normal experience. It was so lovely that instead of going out for a meal, we bought take away and ate it in our cottage.

I loved the motel's garden setting as I was able to bird watch while eating breakfast on the veranda. The location was great as it was just a short walk to cafes and the supermarket. The Peterson Creek walking track was just down the hill. I was also fortunate to see a Tree Kangaroo about 700 m down a dirt road from the motel.
