I had made a mistake and booked for the following month. Thank goodness someone else had left a day early as it had been fully booked otherwise. And after checking the cleaning had been completed, I was directed to my room. Very friendly staff who gave pointers for things to do in Derby over the weekend.

Handy part of Derby to stay, particularly good if you have a bike, as nice ride down to the wharf and along the paths to see some great sculptures! Felt safe at the motel. Good café, hotel and restaurant nearby.

In Derby, this motel is well situated and a restaurant/bar on the premises is helpful.

Great motel to stay at the night before my Horizontal Falls adventure ... they even looked after my car and luggage while at the falls ... great service all round.

The location was fine but the welcome was awful. I could not find the way in at first. The key tab was tiny and unsigned. I had to get out of the car to use it. The room was very difficult to find at night. The numbers on the doors are painted over in the same colour as the door. My room was out the back, up the side out of sight. It took ages to get in the gate and find the room. I then tried to use the rear gate to park close to my room as is normal in a motel but it was chained off.

Accomodation in motel units was nice, spacious and clean. Wifi is Terrible, you have to call reception for password and it often does not work Staff are just rude, they hang up on you or just refuse to send you a copy of the account for expense reasons.

The location was not easy to find. I had to ask people where the Mud Crab Motel was as the sign was not easily seen. The room was comfortable but a little cramped despite the fact it had an en suite.
