Our stay was exceptional. The warm staff made us feel at home and the rooftop area had stunning views. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious variety of fresh, beautifully presented dishes. Situated on the banks of the Liesbeek River in Newlands, Vineyard Hotel offers rooms with garden or Table Mountain views. It features a pool and is a 10-minute drive to the centre of Cape Town. Excellent breakfast, huge selection and great coffee! Restaurant also had great lunch and dinner. And many comfortable spots to sit, relax, and enjoy! Wonderful staff! South Africa is experiencing loadshedding now, i.e., scheduled power outages, but the Vineyard has a generator and was not affected - this is not a given.
