We arrived during the afternoon, it was cold and heating had been switched on for us. It was great to get into a warm apartment with everything there ready to make a hot drink. Check-in was so easy and the off street parking a godsend; no need to look for a place to park. The apartment is clean and well equipped. There are shops and food places very nearby making it a very convenient location.

Lovely cottage at Waterhouses, in a good position for visiting the peak district. Will come back in Summer for cycling and hiking. The cottage is well equipped with a separate kitchen. Very friendly hosts who gave us the keys in person despite our late arrival. Thank you for the nice stay.

The location was beautiful, the room and facilities excellent and Andrew the host friendly and informative about local places of interest. Breakfast was outstanding.

Natural beauty can be found close by in The Peak District National Park and in the traditional Yorkshire villages and countryside which surrounds Lyndene. The owner is very helpful and gave useful info about places around the town. Also as I came with my dog he gave her a sausage for breakfast!

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including washing up liquid! It was very clean and modern. Tea, coffee and auger were also provided. The guidebook was very helpful for appliances in the app and the surrounding areas. The location is fantastic, central to everything and a stone’s throw to the local park. Note to other people staying - you can park around the edges of the Market Place all day without having to pay and display. The bike shop owner told us this the day we were leaving. I would definitely stay here again.
