Di lingkungan Lakeland yang indah menghadap ke sungai yang indah, Glencree terletak di antara desa Bowness dan Windermere. Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Great place in the country side, really nice staff and an excellent restaurant. Nice bar an relaxing area. Hotel is dog friendly, perhaps due to that you easily come in contact with the other guests

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !
