Set in a historic building that was completely renovated in 2015, Hotel Krone Speicher is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Speicher in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. St. Everything was excellent - the room, restaurant, service itself. We booked in the very last minute before our stay, but it was our best place where we stayed in the Switzerland. Highly recomended.

This is a great place! Beautiful location, and the staff takes excellent care of it. Clean modern rooms with nice views. The restaurant offers several options for dinner and all of excellent taste. Local products are used. Great advice from the sommeliere for Austrian wines. Excellent breakfast. Huge spa area, swimming pool and garden. Hiking, biking, sightseeing - lots of options nearby. Staff is polite, friendly and well-trained.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Lake Constance, guests are offered bright, fully furnished apartments. Appartement Hotel Seerose also boasts a gym, a sauna, and a quiet garden. Everything. Very kind welcome, great family ambiance, very good breakfast. The rooms are generous and comfortable, the balconies are large and it is very quiet. Can only recommend if you are in the neighbourhood.

Very modern and newly renovated. The woman on reception was super super helpful and friendly …she couldn’t do enough for us…really welcoming and lovely. The rooms are big and well designed and the beds are comfortable Breakfast was nice with lots of variety. Overall very positive experience.
