There were probably 50 people in line and we bypassed them all. The room was super comfortable, clean, great views, the bed was perfect. The staff was awesome, super helpful, you can tell they have pride in their work and represent the hotel with the utmost professionalism. If you stay in Baden-Baden, this is the hotel, it’s the only place I’ll ever stay because it offers so much.

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! I'm sorry I missed it the second morning, as it does not begin until 7am. The room was perfectly clean. The shower didn't drain right the first morning; I mentioned it at the front desk and they fixed it that day while I was out.

Very nice design overall and well thought out. I found out that this used to be a jail where many Jews were imprisoned. While the leaning into the prison details nice design-wise, I'm not sure it's considerate. However, its functioning as a hotel overall is pretty impeccable from form to functions. While there's a surcharge for dogs, it's the only hotel we've been to that actually set up a nice little corner for our pup with bed/mat, bowls and a bag of treats. It's such nice little details.
