Beautiful setting, lovely rooms. Staff incredible helpful. Special mention of Ricky and Shang who managed to magically get hold of a rare book for me minutes before closing time and having it passed through several people so it was delivered at 11 o’clock pm - I was leaving Kolkata the following morning. I shall always cherish that book.

That was my first time in the hotel and I enjoyed the superb service. That hotel has amazing staff. From the moment I entered the hotel till I exited it, I was treated like a king. Exceptional service all through right from checking to checkout. Particular mention of Mr. Debasish Chatterjee at Dum Pakt dinner. He explained all my questions and had good knowledge on the food. Went out of his way with food suggestions which was helpful. Will remember his exceptional service!
