This suite is one of the perfect and pleasant one in all my trips to Greece. The place was very thoughtfully decorated with elegant decor and lighting style. It really like home, even though for one day. We wanted to prolong our stay at Philikon, Rethymno, however it was a short trip this time. This was one of the nicest hotel rooms that we've stayed in in a while. We were welcomed warmly by Despoina, our host, with a large tray of food and Greek specialty items, including two bottles of wine from the father's winery, and a traditional bottle of Raki, also made by the father. Plenty - even more than we needed - to keep us going for our 4 day visit. The balcony was our favorite part - food smells not a problem for us, as the view overcame any complaint we might have had (truthfully, we smelled frying fish only once). One night while sipping wine, we were regaled by an accordian player - well, he was playing for the diners below, but we got to enjoy him as well. We were sad to leave! The location was perfect - very close to the parking lot, and right in the middle of old town Rethymno.

From the moment I walked into the property, I was captivated by its stunning design and attention to detail. Agnieszka and Minos are perfect hosts! They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfection. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Whether it was recommending local attractions or helping us while our daughter got sick.. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. The views from the suite are great! The panoramic windows offered sweeping views of the sea. The Made of Blue luxury suites collection also boasts a stunning swimming pool, offering a perfect place to relax and unwind with its crystal-clear water and serene ambiance!
