Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. Everything is made with so much passion and love. Couldn’t be better. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The lodge is situated very nice and surrounded by a beautiful environment. I will definitely come again.

Situated within a nature reserve in Kamberg Valley, Qambathi Mountain Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. Complimentary private parking is available on site. Great staff, beautiful room - we stayed in the stable suite. Lunch was delicious as was dinner. Very serene and laid back atmosphere

Fantastic cosy location. Great and friendly service from each and every single staff member. Treated us as family. All meals were of great home cooked quality. Common areas were very warm and comfortable especially with a two year old in toe. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds with blankets/underfloor heating keeping us warm as it snowed during the night. Back-up generator helped during those load shedding hours - powering the entire lodge. An ideal place to escape for a few days of rest and relaxation.
