Il Birches Cottage sorge su una strada sterrata, a 5 km dal vilaggio di Underberg. La struttura offre percorsi naturalistici, piscine sul fiume, aree picnic, terrazze e aree di osservazione. Un bellissimo cottage di legno immerso nella natura selvaggia, a pochi km dal Sani Pass. Meraviglioso il risveglio con il suono del fiume e gli uccellini. Proprietari molto disponibili e gentili, ci hanno rilasciato un voucher nel loro ristorante al centro, dove abbiamo fatto un’ottima colazione. Consigliato per chi ama la natura, il relax e il silenzio. Grazie 🙏

Dotato di un bar, il Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge si trova a Kruisfontein. La struttura è alimentata a energia solare e offre baite di tronchi in stile canadese. we love the location, the view from the lodge is beautiful. everything was above what we expected , nicely furnished, very clean, well maintained, very good fresh home made food, and very nice staff.

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. Thanks for making us so welcome and accommodating our thirst for the great outdoors!

Fantastic cosy location. Great and friendly service from each and every single staff member. Treated us as family. All meals were of great home cooked quality. Common areas were very warm and comfortable especially with a two year old in toe. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds with blankets/underfloor heating keeping us warm as it snowed during the night. Back-up generator helped during those load shedding hours - powering the entire lodge. An ideal place to escape for a few days of rest and relaxation.

Overlooking the Spioenkop Game Reserve, Three Tree Hill Lodge offers luxury accommodation. It features a sun deck next to an outdoor swimming pool. There are hiking trails and guided tours available. The location feels extremely remote and stunning. The feeling of being in a treehouse is beautiful. The views onto Spioenkop game reserve, from the main terrace, from the room veranda and from on walks are special. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay personal and warm.
