We are located on the safest routes to and from Addo Park, including leading up to the lodge. We are centrally located in Addo area between the Garden Route and R62, for those planning round trip back to, or coming from Outdshoorn. If you do travel from Port-Elizabeth, please drive via R75 to us. Beautiful tents with the nicest hosts.

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. All of it was great. The chalet, there was heat so we were comfortable, the staff was very responsive and helpful, the food was delicious and very plentiful.

The lodge offers game drives through Addo National Park, game walks on the property and guided sundowner walks. the view was amazing, the staff were friendly and nice, and even waited for us even though we checked in late. The food was mind blowing although it did that a while for the mains to arrive, and as a sign that we will return, our bottle of wine is still left with the waitress. Valley Bushveld Country Lodge serves authentic South African cuisine. During cold winter evenings, guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge with a huge fireplace. Nice property, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff! Enjoyed the Giraffe Safari and both breakfast and dinner.
