The Econo Lodge hotel is located just four miles from West Virginia University. The hotel is close to an array of outdoor recreational activities. White water rafting, downhill skiing, hiking, fishing, golfing and tennis are all nearby. Prickett's Fort State Park and Cooper's Rock State Forest are 18 miles away. Dax Patel was awesome and kind. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. There’s several restaurants in the area.

The Econo Lodge Near Bluefield College is located off Interstate 77, in the southeast corner of West Virginia and the heart of coal country. Bluefield College, Mercer Mall, Bluefield State College and Bluefield Regional Medical Center are just minutes away. The Mercer County Airport is three miles from the hotel. The hot shower & the bed slept sooo soft. It was good & if in area again ,would definitely stay there again. Enjoyed the conversation with the clerk at front desk.

Oglebay was beautifully decorated for Christmas everywhere you looked! The clerks at the lodge were very courteous in spite of the huge crowd waiting in the lobby for the Thanksgiving buffet. We did not eat then, but had the delicious breakfast buffet the next morning. Our room was cozy with the gas fireplace and very clean. Definitely gets you in the Christmas spirit!

Big lodge with lots of space for kids to play when it was cold and rainy out. Laundry was easy and convenient. Passcodes made it easy for everyone to get in and out easily without loosing key/pass. The free bike storage garage was an excellent addition!

Cozy, inviting, with several food options. Lots of parking. Room was warm and water was hot. Bed was comfortable. The lodge is beautiful with a beautiful view. There are a lot of deer roaming the grounds! When we arrived the lady upgraded our stay

We arrived shortly before midnight to find the entire lodge out of power. They could not even make door keys. Were in process of offering current renters extra covers to deal with the fridge Temps with no heat.
