Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Located at the base of Mauna Kea Volcano, this upcountry Waimea lodge offers cable TV with work desk and fans (available upon request) . Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away. The office closed on 8:00pm but offered an easy late check-in option which was a locker box with a code. The same if you check out early. Very convenient! There is also a restaurant looks good beside the lodge.

Set 18 km from Kilauea, Volcano Hale offers accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Old historic property with a lot of charm. Very convenient location for exploring the National Park.

Kalani Oceanside Retreat features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Pahoa, 2.3 km from Kehena Black Sand Beach. There is also a fridge, microwave and a kettle. The location was beautiful, so relaxing, tranquil and still close to a town. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We wished we got to do more of the classes /events on. Next time 😊

Arnott’s Lodge is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Hilo, just steps away from the ocean. We were on a budget which is difficult in Hawaii but this property helped us sleep five comfortably. Very friendly staff at check in. Accommodations were modest but so is the price so that’s ok.

Lokahi Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea. Everything, easy check-in check-out. Room nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely area by the side of the room to sit out in the morning for breakfast.
